Pedestrian, drivers identified in Springdale accidents

SPRINGDALE -- Police have identified people involved in two accidents that happened Tuesday.

A semitrailer hit a pedestrian about 1:26 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Thompson Street and Wagon Wheel Road.

Elizabeth Zimbrunes, 35, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.

Terry Tindall, 50, of Springfield, Mo., was the driver of the semitrailer, according to the release. He wasn't injured and wasn't intoxicated.

Another pedestrian-involved accident happened just before noon.

Dean Bell, 55, of Springdale was struck by a vehicle near 1306 S. Thompson St., according to a news release. Patricia Hale, 78, of Springdale was the driver.

Bell was in critical condition Wednesday at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, according to a news release.

Police didn't issue any citations in either accident.
