The Dillard and Seewald families appear in an upcoming TLC three-part special, Jill and Jessa: Counting On, that is set to premiere in December.

The two Duggar sisters linked in a scandal earlier this year will appear in a three-part TV special documenting the months after it was revealed that they were fondled by their brother Josh Duggar years earlier.

In a teaser promo for TLC's Jill and Jessa: Counting On, Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald are seen alluding to Josh Duggar's admission that he molested the two sisters, as well as other young girls.

"We were devastated. We couldn't believe it," Jessa said. "You have to wonder, how did this happen?"

The sisters spoke in the video on their emotions in recent months.

"You're angry and hurt and all of those emotions all mixed together," Jill said. "I cried a lot of tears. I still do."

The new reality series marks the first time Jill and Jessa have appeared in a multi-part TV event since the Duggar family reality series 19 Kids and Counting was canceled by TLC in July.

A special, Breaking the Silence, aired on TLC in August featuring Jill and Jessa.

The teaser video concludes with the sisters talking about the future. Jill says: "We will come out of this fire," and Jessa speaks on "exciting milestones ahead," including the birth of her first child.

Jill and Jessa: Counting On will premiere in December on TLC.
