A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the slaying of a Hot Springs man earlier this month, police said.
Malcom Jalil Easley of Arkadelphia was booked about 9:27 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of second-degree murder in the Oct. 8 death of 58-year-old Hot Springs resident Steven Paul Moore.
Moore was found shot dead in the 200 block of Linwood Avenue, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.
Easley remained in the Garland County jail on a bond of $50,000 as of Thursday afternoon. He has a hearing scheduled for Nov. 3 in district court, according to jail records.
