Officials have confirmed the identity of an eighth-grade girl who died last week after collapsing in the gym of Joe T. Robinson Middle School.

Pulaski County School District spokeswoman Deborah Roush said the girl who died is 13-year-old Kyrin Ida-Monay Wilbert. Her obituary appeared in this week's Democrat-Gazette.

Officials said last week a teacher found Wilbert unconscious in the gym on Oct. 20, and attempted to revive her before she was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

Multiple adults were there when Wilbert fell unconscious, the school district said.

Roush said the Robinson Middle School Parent Teacher Organization set up a GoFundMe page to help the family pay for funeral expenses. The fundraiser has received more than $2,500 in donations out of a goal of $15,000.

Services for Wilbert will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Agape Church in Napa Valley Drive in Little Rock.
