Police beat: 2 ounces of meth in car, police say

Little Rock police pulled a man over for not wearing a seat belt and then arrested him after finding about 2 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, according to an arrest report.

Police pulled over Patrick Pike, 43, at 3400 John Barrow Road about 2:30 p.m. Friday after they saw he was not wearing a seat belt, the report said. Police said a Little Rock K-9 officer found a lock box in the back seat that contained about 2 ounces of meth, a glass pipe with residue, a digital scale and baggies.

Pike was arrested and booked into the Pulaski County jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and not wearing a seat belt. He remained on the jail's inmate roster Friday night.
