BRYANT — The Bryant Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Fall Fest Pageant at 10 a.m. Saturday in Love Auditorium at Bryant High School.
“This is the first time we have held a beauty pageant in the fall,” said Rae Ann Fields, executive director of the chamber. “It is conjoined with the Bryant Fall Fest. All proceeds will be used for scholarships for local high school seniors.”
Winners will be asked to participate in the Bryant Fall Fest Parade, which is scheduled for Sept. 26 (see related story on Page 1 of today’s edition), as well as the Christmas parade.
The pageant entry fee is $75 for new contestants and $50 for returning pageant contestants.
Admission to the pageant is $5 per person with a family cap of $20. Parking is free.
Age divisions include the following:
• Baby Miss, for contestants 0 to 11 months old;
• Toddler Miss, 12 to 23 months old;
• Tiny Miss, 2 to 3 years old;
• Little Miss, 4 to 6 years old;
• Petite Miss, 7 to 9 years old;
• Pre-Teen Miss, 10 to 12 years old;
• Teen Miss, 13 to 15 years old; and
• Miss, 16 to 19 years old.
An Ultimate Grand Supreme winner will be named for the contestant with the overall highest score. Grand Supreme winners will be named for each age division.
Supreme and division winners and alternates will all receive a crown, sash and trophy. Optional category winners in each age division — photogenic, prettiest hair, prettiest smile and prettiest eyes — will receive trophies.
In addition, every participant will receive a trophy.
