A Little Rock festival back for its second year Saturday at the State Fairgrounds calls itself a "celebration of bacon."

Little Rock Bacon Fest, which benefits the Arkansas State Fair Scholarship Program, will include a variety of eats, a 5K bacon themed run/walk, live music, vendors and bacon-oriented contests from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Food and drink options at this year's Bacon Fest are set to include bacon jalapeno lemonade, bacon-wrapped pineapples, deep fried bacon on a stick, bacon ice cream, bacon cinnamon rolls, bacon-wrapped mashed potatoes and bacon-wrapped quail.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $10 on the day of the event, and are available by visiting the Bacon Fest website. Registration for the 5K run/walk is $35.

More information about Bacon Fest, including all of the menu items, is available by visiting the event's Facebook page or calling (501) 372-8341.
