The two remaining components, a boiler and an emissions stack, at a retired 51-year-old power plant in Helena-West Helena were imploded Thursday.
Retired in 2013, the Robert E. Ritchie Power Plant housed three units that could produce 918 megawatts of electricity, according to Entergy Arkansas.
The plant's retirement and implosion was part of Entergy Arkansas' plans of modernizing its operations.
