A man wanted on charges including attempted murder after a shooting last month in Little Rock should be considered "armed and dangerous," authorities said Thursday.

The Little Rock Police Department said it is looking for 56-year-old Michael B. Crawford on accusations he shot a 42-year-old man at a Little Rock gas station in the 6900 block of Colonel Glenn Road on March 10.

Police say the victim was shot multiple times and at one point was rushed into emergency surgery at UAMS Medical Center after losing his pulse.

The man later regained his pulse and was placed in the Intensive Care Unit for treatment, police said. His condition Thursday was not clear.

Police said Crawford is known to frequent the area near John Barrow and Colonel Glenn roads. He's described as a black man who stands 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighs about 155 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Crawford is also facing a charge of first-degree battery.
