Maintenance on U.S. 270, also called the Hot Springs Bypass, in Hot Springs will require temporary lane closures through May 4, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The closure of the inside eastbound lane, which began Tuesday, will continue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Thursday, weather permitting. The inside westbound lane will be closed during the same hours from Thursday through May 4, again weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and traffic barrels, the department said.
