Kudos to the Hon. Tim Griffin, lieutenant governor and all-around shining light. Now he’s about to cut his office’s spending next fiscal year, by $62,491 to be exact, and he always is, to $340,677.
He’s still got some juggling to do but he—and the state’s taxpayers—are getting there. Here’s the most welcome cut of all: His office would lose its Government and Constituent Relations Office, which was vacant anyway. So long as the Lite Guv continues to do the great job he’s doing now, Public Relations will take care of itself.
