Unless you keep up with Buzzfeed and the world of social media, the name Bronson van Wyck may be unfamiliar to you, but he's a living legend among the cognoscenti and deserves to be.
The native of Tuckerman, Ark., now hangs his hat in New York City, where he's known to party-givers far and wide--from the Hon. Barack Obama to various hosts and hostesses. They know his name and very well should. For he's a creative genius, to use the overused term for his occupation and obsession.
Mr. Van Wyck makes his clients industry-wide names overnight, and if not overnight then the next morning. As one of them put it, he and his company "provide a level of 'shock and awe' in a good way. I think the brands that work with them are always really pleased." And have every reason to be. The boy from Tuckerman, who's no longer a boy, keeps astounding those who know about these things, and who are learning more about him all the time.
