Jabari Henry's two-run single in the eighth inning accounted for the Arkansas Travelers' runs in a 2-0 victory over the Tulsa Drillers on Tuesday night at ONEOK Field in Tulsa.
After Zach Welz and Sean Coyle grounded out to start the inning against reliever Yaisel Sierra, David Fletcher and Alex Yarbrough walked and Andrew Daniel singled to load the bases. Henry came up and singled to right to score Fletcher and Yarbrough before Wade Wass struck out to end the inning.
Austin Adams, Edward Paredes and Eduardo Paredes combined to pitch the final two innings, not allowing a base runner, to preserve the victory. Eduardo Paredes struck out two in the ninth to get his sixth save of the season. Jordan Kipper (12-6) allowed 4 hits in 7 innings with 1 walk and 1 strikeout to get the victory.
Scott Barlow allowed 4 hits in 7 innings before Sierra (1-2) took the loss, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits with 2 walks in the eighth.
Bo Way of the Travelers was the only player in the game with two hits.
