BENTONVILLE -- The community is invited to meet the three people running for the School Board's Zone 3 seat during a public forum next week.
The forum will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the cafeteria of Ardis Ann Middle School, 3400 S.W. Second St. It's sponsored by the school's parent-teacher organization.
The candidates -- incumbent Grant Lightle, Beth Haney and Eric White -- will be asked a few questions prepared by the event's organizers. The public will have a chance to meet and greet the candidates afterward.
Zone 3 includes parts of north and central Bentonville and east Centerton. Only residents of the zone are eligible to vote in the election, which will be held Sept. 20.
