Another Round Pub in west Little Rock said "with a heavy heart" Monday that it has shut its doors after more than a year in business.
In a post on its Facebook page, the bar and concert venue said: "We appreciate all the support over the past year and a half. I want to thank each and every one of you that I have come to know and love."
Another Round, located in the Rock Creek Square Plaza Shopping Center at 12111 W. Markham St., opened in 2014.
By Tuesday afternoon, its website had been shut down. Glancing through the pub's glass front door, lights were off and tables sat vacant throughout the space. No signs of activity could be seen in the dining or bar areas.
A "substantial debt that was accrued over the past year" was behind the pub's closure, according to a statement sent from Another Round's listed email address.
Several options were attempted to address the issue after investors discovered the problem in late December, but the efforts were unsuccessful, the statement reads.
Six shows had been planned for the remainder of February, according to Another Round's monthly music schedule.
