Don Heinrich, the father of Arkansas offensive line signee Jake Heinrich, praised the hiring of former Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads as the Razorbacks' defensive backs coach.

The younger Heinrich, 6-4, 290 5.3 of Urbandale, Iowa picked the Hogs after considering offers from Iowa State, Oregon, Louisville, Kansas State, Illinois, California and Duke.

"We got to know him really well while Iowa State was recruiting Jake," Don Heinrich said. "He is a quality guy, also very family oriented and will be a great addition to the staff. He was very nice to Jake and the family during the recruitment process."
