Man won't explain how leg got shot

Little Rock police were investigating a shooting that injured one person Saturday night.

Officers were called about 7:27 p.m. to 1325 Hanger St., where a resident said a man had staggered onto the property and asked to be taken to a hospital, according to a police report. Police later found the man, identified as Christian Oats, 25, at UAMS Medical Center being treated for a gunshot wound on a the leg. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Oats, of Little Rock, refused to speak to investigators, according to the report.

Circumstances of the shooting remained unclear Monday. No arrests had been made.
