— Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen has been invited to participate in the NFL Combine, Arkansas coach Bret Bielema announced on the Paul Finebaum Show Friday.

"Brandon Allen had another great game (in the Liberty Bowl)," Bielema said. "He, since then, has been invited to the Senior Bowl and also the combine, so (I'm) excited that he's getting some recognition for the future."

As a senior, he threw for 3,440 yards and 30 touchdowns. He is the Razorbacks' career leader in passing touchdowns.

He is the second Arkansas player known to be invited, joining Sebastian Tretola, who announced his invitation on Facebook Thursday.

The NFL Combine, in which draft prospects workout for scouts, is Feb. 23-29 in Indianapolis.
