Patrons and supporters of The Boys & Girls Club of Bryant rang in the new year on Dec. 31 at the fifth annual Starlight Gala, A Night of Champions. The black-tie affair was held at the Benton Event Center.
There was plenty to do throughout the evening and before the countdown to midnight. It began with a cocktail hour and silent auctions followed by a lavish buffet by Bistro Catering. Guests could enjoy casino games, dancing, watching college football bowl games on a giant screen and having mementos of the evening made in a photo booth.
Connie and Rodney Plack were the evening's honorees. He is a member of the club's board of directors, and both were honored for their service to the club and the community.
The Boys & Girls Club of Bryant serves about 1,000 children each year through after-school and summer programs.
