COLUMBIA, Mo. — Mike Anderson's squad will break out its anthracite uniforms for the first time this season Tuesday.
It will be the straight third year the men's basketball team has worn the alternate jerseys at Missouri. Last season's 61-60 win over the Tigers was the last time they made an appearance.

Arkansas also wore them against California in the 2014 NIT and against Vanderbilt earlier that season.
In those four games, the Razorbacks are 2-2, including 1-1 against the Tigers.
The women's team has worn anthracite twice this season, while the football team hasn't worn them since suffering a 24-17 overtime loss to Mississippi State at War Memorial Stadium on Nov. 23, 2013.
During a question-and-answer segment on Twitter, the Arkansas football equipment staff said that the team no longer had anthracite uniforms as an option.
Combined, Arkansas' football, men's basketball and women's basketball teams are just 3-6 when wearing anthracite.
