Police: Petsitter reported found in women's underwear arrested in child-porn case

A 34-year-old man was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges, more than a year after he was reported by a man who had hired him to watch over his pets.

Haschel Capps was taken into custody Thursday by Pulaski County sheriff's deputies at the listed address for a Crackerbox store on Fourche Dam Pike.

According to a police report, Capps was reported to authorities in October 2014 after a thumb drive containing explicit photos of young girls was found at a house where he had been hired to watch over animals.

The man who lived at the house in England told police he returned home one day to find Capps wearing women's underwear using a laptop.

The man kicked Capps out of his home and found the thumb drive in his couch two months later, he told police.

The drive also contained photos of Capps wearing women's underwear, and it appeared someone else helped Capps take the pictures, police said in the report.

Capt. Carl Minden, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, said the report was given to prosecutor's office in early 2015, and charges were filed yesterday.
