Arkansas tight end commitment Grayson Gunter forewarned Coach Bret Bielema and tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. to expect a large crowd during Monday's in-home visit.

Approximately 50 family members and friends greeted the coaches.

"I told them in advance it should be a good crowd showing up," Gunter said.

Gunter, 6-5, 218, 4.58 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Madison Central High School in Mississippi picked the Hogs over 12 other scholarship offers, including Mississippi State, Arkansas State, Tulane, Louisiana Tech and Memphis during the summer.

His father Bubba lettered as an outside linebacker for Ole Miss in 1988-1989.

The 50 or so people on hand came away impressed with Bielema and Lunney.

"They were thrilled to meet Coach B and Coach Lunney," Gunter said. "They told me that they loved getting to talk to them. They said that I definitely made the right decision."

Some of Gunter's friends from Greenbrier made the trip to meet the coaches.

"We ate and then visited with everyone," said Gunter, who plans to report to Fayetteville on May 28. "Then took lots of pictures."
