It was predictable as soon as the hotheads with badges, aka the FBI and Oregon State Police, decided to act first and think later. ("Shots fired, 1 killed in arrests of Oregon occupiers" --Page 1A, Jan. 27, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.)
What a contrast with a professional, ever-patient U.S. attorney named Asa Hutchinson who just waited out a bunch of crazies in the Arkansas hills till they got tired of waiting. And all was resolved without a drop of blood being shed. Now more than a drop has been shed, and it is our hands that are bloody. For in a Republic our government is the people, God forgive us.
