TANYARD CREEK NATURE TRAIL
Location: Bella Vista’s Tanyard Creek Park is at Lancashire Boulevard and Westford Lane. The trailhead is just east of the parking lot past the pavilion.

Length: The paved walking path plus the well-maintained dirt nature trail combine for 2.3 miles.
Main attractions: A cool spot for a hot day, Tanyard Creek features a waterfall, rapids, shaded pools, footbridges and a nifty suspension bridge. Interpretive signs dot the path, and plenty of benches provide places to rest and listen to nature.
Hazards: Careful on the rocks along the creek. They can be slippery.
Dog, bike, tyke friendly? No bikes allowed; dogs must be on a leash; small fry will think this is a magical place.
