Maintenance to a bridge on U.S. 270 that crosses the Derriseaux Creek in Grant County will require a lane closure beginning Tuesday and lasting a week, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The westbound lane will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday and continue through Aug. 2, lasting from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
Eastbound and westbound traffic will use the eastbound lane, which will remain open, although drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible. Traffic control will be maintained by signs and flaggers, the department said.
