Hospice in Fayetteville earns honor
Washington Regional Hospice in Fayetteville was named a 2016 Hospice Honors recipient by Deyta Analytics, a data-gathering company that partners with thousands of hospice, home-health, human services and health care organizations.
Award criteria were based on survey results from Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems for an evaluation period of April through September 2015. Out of 1,466 eligible hospice agencies nationwide, 0nly 238 were selected for Hospice Honors.
Council rolls out Finding NWA program
The Northwest Arkansas Council created a new program to broaden the knowledge of Northwest Arkansas for job seekers across the globe and established a new website to provide expanding companies with an array of business-focused information about the region.
The Finding NWA program was created after the council's staff consulted with corporate recruiters at Northwest Arkansas' largest companies. The website provides recruiters working for those companies and out-of-state job seekers with information about living and working in the region, and the overall program will continue to evolve.
Business-focused information is on the new website called NorthwestArkansas.info.
Young Professionals Summit on Aug. 12
The Rotary Clubs of Fayetteville, including Downtown, Northside, Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers and Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders, are partnering to host the inaugural Northwest Arkansas Young Professional Summit. The gathering will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 12 at the John Q. Hammons Center, 3303 S. Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers.
Donnie Smith, Tyson CEO, will be the keynote speaker. Tickets for the event are $35 and include access to all breakout sessions and lunch. Registration is available at nwaypsummit.com.
