Police arrest Jacksonville man in connection with Friday robbery

A Jacksonville man is accused of robbing a market on Friday, authorities said.

In a release, Jacksonville police said Braylin Thomas, 20, went into Delgado's Market, located at 324 West Main St., at 9:15 a.m., drew a firearm and demanded money. Thomas left the market, but he did not evade the security cameras.

Police said they circulated the images on social media, and Thomas was brought to the department, where he confessed to the robbery.

Since Friday night, he's been held at the Pulaski County jail on charges of aggravated robbery and theft. His bond is set at $30,000.
