A shooting victim found lying beside a blue Chevrolet pickup late last month was jailed Thursday on drug charges, police said.
Little Rock police were called to a shooting at 3124 Zion St. on June 30 and found Gilbert Mendez, 32, of Little Rock and two other shooting victims.
Detectives found about 8.67 pounds of methamphetamine inside the residence, police said. Police also found digital scales and plastic bags, according to the report.
Mendez has been charged with trafficking a Schedule II controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia, according to a report.
He was listed on the Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Friday night.
