Police arrested a Conway doctor Friday morning on charges of rape and sexual assault.

According to an affidavit, the three women who accused Dr. Robert Rook of inappropriate sexual conduct were all his patients at Conway Family Practice Clinic at 919 Locust St.

Rook, 60, faces three counts of rape and three counts of second-degree sexual assault, according to the police report.

In an affidavit, the women said Rook’s sexual misconduct occurred when he was alone with each of them while they were his patients. Two of the women said Rook sexually assaulted them in the fall of 2015. The third said the misconduct had been going on “for the past couple of years,” according to the affidavit.

Rook was released from Faulkner County jail on $225,000 bond at 1:02 p.m. He was processed at 11:55 a.m.

Rook is scheduled to appear in Faulkner County Circuit Court on July 5.

Anyone with information on the case should call Conway police at (501) 450-6120.
