PINE BLUFF -- Pine Bluff police arrested a suspect Wednesday in the shooting of a man whose body was found last week outside a popular barbecue restaurant.
Mark Anthony Carrington, 19, was arrested in the shooting of Allen Lampkin, whose body was found around 4 a.m. June 20 inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Kibb's Bar-B-Que No. 2 on the 1400 block of South Blake Street.
According to a news release, physical evidence and interviews led to Carrington's identification as a suspect in Lampkin's slaying.
Carrington will appear before a judge for a probable-cause hearing this morning.
Lampkin's death was the fourth homicide this year in Pine Bluff. A fifth person, James Murry, 44, was fatally shot two days later.
