CONWAY -- A judge set a new pretrial hearing date Tuesday for one of four teenagers charged in the shooting deaths of a Conway couple.

Connor Atchley, 17, of Greenbrier, is to return to Faulkner County Circuit Court at 1:30 p.m. May 31. Circuit Judge Troy Braswell has not set a trial date.

Atchley and his girlfriend, Anastasia Roberts, 17, of Conway, are charged as adults with two counts each of first-degree murder and theft by receiving in the July 21 deaths of Robert and Patricia Cogdell, both 66, of Conway.

Justin Staton, 15, of Conway, and Hunter Drexler, 18, of Clinton, are charged as adults with two counts each of capital murder, abuse of a corpse and theft by receiving.

The Cogdells had been Staton's legal guardians since 2010. Staton was 14 when the killings occurred; Drexler was 17.

Staton's biological grandfather, Randy Staton of Conway, is charged with felony hindering apprehension or prosecution.

The boy's mother, Michelle Staton of Conway, recently pleaded guilty to felony hindering apprehension or prosecution and to unrelated drug charges. She was sentenced to six years in prison and a six-year suspended-imposition sentence, meaning she could go back to prison if she gets in trouble again during that time.

Here are other key dates, with all pending cases before Braswell unless otherwise noted. Trial dates often change.

• Tuesday, 9 a.m., Justin Staton will have a pretrial hearing on whether his case should move to juvenile court.

• Tuesday, 10 a.m., Drexler will have a pretrial hearing.

• April 4, 8:30 a.m., Drexler's trial is tentatively set to begin.

• April 25, 9 a.m., Randy Staton has a pretrial hearing before Circuit Judge Charles Clawson Jr.

• May 16, 9 a.m., Justin Staton's trial is tentatively scheduled to begin.

• May 25, 1:30 p.m., Roberts has a hearing on whether her case should be transferred to juvenile court.
