CARAWAY — Craighead County authorities say the cause of death has been determined for a woman who was found dead after a house fire at her home in Caraway.
Sheriff's investigator Justin Rolland told KAIT that the state Crime Lab has determined 53-year-old LaDonna Sneed died of smoke inhalation.
Rolland said a suspected cause of the Feb. 22 fire remains under investigation.
Authorities say neighbors had tried to rescue Sneed from the burning home, but were unable to do so.
