Harrison native Trey O’Dell returns to The Voice this week as the singing competition enters its knockout rounds.

The rounds are set to air at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday on NBC. An NBC spokesman declined to disclose the air date of O’Dell’s performance.

The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville student, formerly coached by Blake Shelton on the show, recently joined coach Christina Aguilera’s team after narrowly avoiding elimination last week.

During the knockout rounds, musicians are paired with a teammate and perform individually in the hopes of winning over their coach. Their respective coach then selects one contestant to move forward.

Miley Cyrus will appear as an adviser this week, according to a Voice preview video. NBC said Monday that Cyrus and Alicia Keys will join Adam Levine and Shelton as coaches on the show's next season.
