A woman was stabbed Wednesday in a robbery at a Little Rock gas station, police reported.

Officers responded about 10:39 p.m. to a Valero station at 925 Fair Park Blvd., just south of Interstate 630. They found a gas station employee, Shavon Darrough, 23, who had been stabbed in the left thigh, according to a police report. Darrough was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Police said her injuries were not life-threatening.

Another employee, Evelyn Tatum, 25, told police a man had walked into the business, cursed at her and said, "I have the munchies," according to the report. The man then walked behind the counter, pulled out a small knife and demanded that Darrough open the cash register. He reportedly stabbed Darrough and fled with some cash.

Newport cigarettes also were taken in the holdup, the report states.

Officers searched the area but made no arrests.

The robber is described as black, 6 feet 2 inches tall, thin and in his 30s. He wore a white T-shirt, green shorts and white shoes.
