Summer Danyelle Salley became the bride of Nicholas Eugene Croom on Saturday, May 14, at the Arkansas Arts Center. Corey Sanders of Homestead, Fla., cousin of the bride, officiated.

Tracey and Bryan Salley of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Raymond and the late Thelma Baham and Ruthie and the late Levi Salley, all also of Little Rock.

Parents of the bridegroom are Linda Broadway of Little Rock and Lois and Wallace Croom of Alexander. He is the grandson of Lee Esther and the late Daniel Broadway and the late Johnny Croon and the late Rosena Neasley, all of Little Rock.

The altar was centered with an arrangement of fuchsia peonies, pink roses, white hydrangeas, purple stock and purple dendrobium orchids. Music was by Rafael Powell and Bijoux Pighee.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white lace trumpet-style gown with sweetheart neckline and scalloped laced hem. She carried a bouquet of peonies, roses and dendrobium orchids.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Kelli Dixon and Mia Denham, both of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Mary Broadway of Sherwood, cousin of the bridegroom; Tiora Davis of Dallas; Brittney Garland, Kamille Hairston, Monica Simpson and Kendra Jasper, all of Little Rock; and Robin Sanders of Homestead, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Jaela McCuien and Perryn Ward, both of Little Rock and daughters of the bride. The honor attendants wore gowns of mercury-colored satin and matte-crepe. The bridesmaids wore lapis-colored gowns and the junior bridesmaids wore wisteria-colored gowns. They all carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girls and ring bearer were Egypt Hollis, cousin of the bride, and Chauvet Biddle, niece of the bride, both of Little Rock, and Camryn Hooks of Conway, nephew of the bridegroom.

Wallace Croom Jr. of Los Angeles was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Torre Anderson of Los Angeles; Jason Greenbaum and Brandon Randle, both of North Little Rock; Kalvin Moore of Woodbridge, Va.; Cedric Payne, Cleophus Buckley, Geddiah Starks and Trey Salley, brother of the bride, all of Little Rock; and Lee J. Woodard of Memphis. Guests were seated by Kaylah Williams of Little Rock.

A reception, also at the Arts Center, followed the ceremony. Guest tables alternated vases of white hydrangeas with containers of hot pink and burgundy snapdragons.

The bride graduated from the Baptist School of Nursing as a registered nurse and is employed as a director of nursing.

The bridegroom is a sergeant in the Arkansas Army National Guard, where he works as an electronics mechanic and air traffic control systems and subsystems repairer.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic.
