FORDYCE — Prescott and Fordyce went to the wire, but the Curley Wolves (13-0) advanced to the Class 3A semifinals to host Newport.

Prescott dominated the ground game against the Redbugs (10-2) behind Carlos Vanhook and Derrick Flynn, as the two seniors combined for more than 100 yards rushing in the first half.
The Curley Wolves trailed early, but Kendarius Pearson scored on a 27-yard pass from Flynn to get within 14-13 in the second quarter.
The Prescott defense forced a threeand-out on the next series, and the Wolves managed a field goal for a 16-14 halftime lead.
Vanhook scored on an 8-yard touchdown run with 10:06 left in the third quarter, and the Wolves recovered two onside kicks in the fourth quarter to preserve the victory.
