Works of art benefit charities

The Walton Arts Center invites the community to the newly renovated arts center in Fayetteville for the “Grand Reopening Celebration” on Nov. 19. The day will feature a family open house and an evening of performances and refreshments for adults.

3 6 p.m. -- Northwest Arkansas Community College alumnus Raul "Rulli" Torres will showcase his high fashion and ready-to-wear collection -- which includes bridal, formal and avant-garde designs -- to benefit the school's general scholarship fund during "Fashion 4 a Cause" at the Springdale Civic Center.
