Motorcyclist, pedestrian, 2 drivers killed in crashes

Crashes on Arkansas roads have killed four people since Monday, according to reports released by the Arkansas State Police on Thursday and Friday.

A motorcyclist died Friday after a pickup pulled in front of him on U.S. 165B in Arkansas County, according to a report.

Kenneth Dooley, 58, of Stuttgart was driving a 2012 Honda motorcycle south when a northbound 2003 Chevrolet pickup turned left into Dooley's path, state police said.

Dooley died in the accident, which occurred about 6:40 a.m., according to the report.

A 73-year-old woman died from a Wednesday crash in Baxter County, according to a police report.

Bertie Miller of Oakland was headed west on Arkansas 202 about 5:30 p.m. when she failed to turn on a curve, left the road and hit a tree, police said.

Miller, who was driving a 1999 Chevrolet, died in the crash, police said.

A pedestrian in Forrest City died after being hit by a truck Tuesday night, according to a state police report released Friday.

Siah White, 71, of Forrest City was walking across North Washington Street in Forrest City about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday when he was hit by a 2010 Ford F-350 that was traveling south, state police said.

A Monday crash in Benton County left one person dead and one person injured, according to a state police report released Thursday.

A 2005 Chevrolet Impala was headed south on U.S. 71 Business at 3:22 a.m. when it crossed a turn lane and hit a 2011 Nissan Altima that was traveling north, police said.

Impala driver Jerri Ann Stamps, 48, of Lowell died in the crash while the Altima driver, Diego Malagon-Rodriguez, 19, of Springdale, was injured, according to the report.

Police said the weather was clear and the roads were dry in all four crashes.
