MARION -- Marion (1-1) used a big-play offense and forced five turnovers on the way to a 62-35 victory against the Jackson, Mo., Indians on Friday.

Marion senior wide receiver Collin Chambers collected 6 catches for 215 yards and 4 touchdowns, the shortest of which was a 31-yard scoring play.
On Marion's fourth play from scrimmage, senior running back Tom Young sailed for a 56-yard touchdown run for a 7-0 lead.
Young bowled across from a yard out on Marion's second drive for a 14-0 advantage.
After a Jackson (3-1) touchdown cut the lead in half, Chambers scored on a 60-yard catch-and-run on third down for a 21-7 lead.
With the score at 21-14, Chambers crossed from 55 yards out with 4:16 left in the first half.
Kabryn Williams scored on a 42-yard interception return to push Marion ahead 35-14.
Jackson would score the next two touchdowns to get within 35-28 early in the second half.
Marion quarterback Peyton Walker then found Chambers for the third time on a 51-yard touchdown pass with 9:28 in the third quarter.
Chambers' fourth score put Marion ahead 49-28.
