Arkansas reached the TCU 7 before a lost-yardage play and incomplete pass led to Cole Hedlund’s 27-yard field goal. A chop block blunted a TCU series. Tevin Beanum and Taiwan Johnson forced a Kenny Hill pass in the flats, which Brooks Ellis intercepted and returned 47 yards for a touchdown. An illegal block defused a TCU series as itreached the Arkansas 30. Arkansas did not gain on three plays and Toby Baker punted 51 yards. Kyle Hicks caught a 31-yard swing pass to reach the Arkansas 44 before Jeremiah Ledbetter and Randy Ramsey combined for a 6-yard sack. Arkansas had a holding penalty and punted. Santos Ramirez knocked down Hill’s pass in the end zone from the Arkansas 47 on the final play of the half.

3rd Quarter

ARKANSAS 20, TCU 7

TCU went up-tempo and profited. Kyle Hicks had 3 touches for 37 yards, including a 9-yard touchdown run and John Diarse had an 18-yard catch on third and 9. Ty Summers batted down Austin Allen’s play-action pass on third and 1. The Horned Frogs punted to the Hogs’ 37 after gaining one first down. Uncovered KaVontae Turpin had a 57-yard catch-and-run to the Arkansas 5. Kenny Hill scored on a 1-yard run. Turpin returned a punt 34 yards to the 50. After Turpin’s 43-yard catch, Kyle Hicks ran 7 for the score. Austin Allen hit Keon Hatcher with a 16-yard touchdown, then Allen caught the tying two-point conversion pass from Hatcher. Turpin returned the kickoff 64 yards. Dan Skipper blocked Ryan Graf’s 28-yard FG try to force OT. Jeremy Sprinkle and Taj Williams had TD catches in the first OT. The Frogs scored on Graf’s 37-yard field goal, then Allen won it with a 5-yard QB sweep touchdown.
