Greene Chapel at Hendrix College in Conway was the setting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, for the marriage of Cristena Elizabeth Kirkendoll and Collin Michael Bierle. Chad Jones of Conway officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Lorie and Kevin Ramsey of Marshall. She is the granddaughter of Minnie Stanley of Clinton, the late James Drew of Tampa, Fla., and the late Peggy and Will Ramsey of Marshall.
Parents of the bridegroom are Anita and Dr. Michael Bierle of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Joann and Dean Wendt of Mobridge, S.D., and the late Patricia and Don Bierle of Yankton, S.D.
Ivory roses and petals lined the chapel's aisle. Music was by Adam Dell.
The bride, escorted by her brother, Jeffrey Wilchman, wore a fit-and-flair gown of embroidered lace on tulle. The bodice had a scalloped lace sweetheart neckline and crystal-and-pearl belt at the waist. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, miniature white calla lilies, ruscus and lavender limonium.
Matron of honor was Michelle A. Parrish of Conway. Bridesmaids were Victoria Carter and Nikki Allen, both also of Conway, and Evette Macuil of Little Rock. They wore gray chiffon gowns with cap sleeves and embellished with lace. They carried ivory roses and stock, lavender limonium and ruscus.
Serving as best man was Nick Anderson of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Sonny Lambert of Malvern, Riley Sonders of Norman, Okla., and Sean Stroud of Bryant.
Guests were seated by Chad Parrish and David Fulford, both of Conway.
A reception at Centennial Valley Country Club followed the ceremony. Arrangements of ivory roses in mercury glass vases decorated tables covered in cream-colored satin cloths.
The bride graduated with honors from Baptist Health College Little Rock and is a registered nurse at Baptist Health Medical Center of Conway.
The bridegroom has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and serves in law enforcement.
After a wedding trip to Coronado, Calif., the couple will live in Little Rock.
