Hint: The short stretch of sidewalk at this trailhead was poured with a doughnut hole so the big rock didn't have to be moved. The trail leads through an area once used for military training, and signs warn visitors to be aware that unexploded ordnance has been found here.

Hint 2: The area is better known for the red bridge in the background. Constructed in 1972 as a tourist attraction, it has an 18-foot-wide wooden traffic lane that gets light but daily use by cars.
