1 killed, 2 injured in 2-vehicle wreck on Arkansas highway

A Missouri woman was killed after colliding with another vehicle while traveling west on Arkansas 62 about 1 mile outside of Bellefonte.

Jennifer Meanor, a 34-year-old woman from Kimberling City, Mo., was driving a 2010 Mercury when she drifted across the centerline and into the eastbound lane of the highway around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to an Arkansas State Police crash report.

Meanor hit an International Harvester truck being driven in the opposite direction by Michael Baxter, 42, of Des Arc. Jeffery Cook, 56, of Bryant was riding in the passenger seat of the truck.

Both Baxter and Cook were injured and were taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

State police reported the conditions at the time of the wreck as clear and dry.

Meanor's death was the 369th on Arkansas roads in 2016, according to preliminary state police data.
