TRAVELERS 3, MISSIONS 1

Three doubles in the sixth inning led to the two runs for the Arkansas Travelers in a 3-1 victory over the San Antonio Missions on Monday afternoon before an announced crowd of 3,354 at Wolff Stadium in San Antonio.

Trailing 1-0 going into the sixth inning, Ian Miller led off the inning with a double to right field off Missons starter Cesar Vargas. Chuck Taylor followed with a double down the right-field line to score Miller and tie the game at 1-1. After Tyler Marlette grounded out to third, allowing Taylor to move to third, Kyle Waldrop doubled down the right-field line to score Taylor to make it 2-1.
