Penelope is our pet of the week. She is a 7-year-old domestic medium-haired cat that is beautiful, friendly, and tri-colored. She is a volunteer favorite at the Little Rock Animal Village. Penelope is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed, so she is ready to go to her new home today.
Canine Close-Up
Montana is a Catahoula mix that is 1½ years old. He loves to play outside. He is active but also settles down easily. He has been learning to walk on a leash and a couple of other nice behaviors. Montana would love a running buddy.
Gidget is a 7-year-old terrier mix. She is a little shy at first but warms up as she gets to know a person. She has good manners and has responded well to volunteers of all ages. She gets along fine with other dogs.
Samuel is a 4-year-old pointer/Labrador retriever mix. He would do best in a one-dog home. He loves to go for walks, and a little running around in the yard is much fun to him.
Featured Felines
Anastasia is an 11-year-old domestic short-haired cat. She is a pretty, shy, brown tabby. Anastasia is up to date on vaccinations. She loves to stroll around but also loves a lap to curl up in. Being an older girl, she's not into running too much. She would be great in a home that's more on the relaxed end.
Spartacus is a 5-year-old domestic short-haired cat. He is a handsome, friendly, gray kitty. Spartacus isn't a fan of dogs, so he would do best in a dog-free home. He is very social with people and loves to spend time with volunteers.
