Beautiful column. I will get out our Menorah tonight and light candles for my husband's Jewish half. Happy Chanukah.

What breathtaking hypocrisy - not that that’s exclusive to Judaism. So Zechariah applies EXCEPT to 1967 when Israel took BY FORCE territory they’ve now illegally settled, per the Fourth Geneva Convention, or to genocide of Palestinians by Israel. How do you say, “Praise the lord and pass the ammunition,” in Hebrew.
