I doubt ISPs will leverage this opportunity to expand broadband across our country, instead pocketing the money and passing it along to shareholders while consumers continue to suffer lagging speeds. Today, the US ranks 12th in the world in terms of fixed broadband speed with much of that skewed by large cities. Looking at a map of the US, Arkansas and Mississippi rank at the bottom in terms of Internet subscriptions per household. Killing net neutrality does nothing to close these gaps. If we really want to improve America, broadband access should be a high priority in the nation.

The three voting for this need an attitude adjustment. With US already behind much of the rest of the world on this, their votes only will cause the US to become further behind. They are just paying their debts to the big corporations, for campaign money.

Rolling back anything Obama did is a good thing.
