Where I live: Stonehenge neighborhood of Bentonville

Occupation: mother of newborn twins

My favorite space is: our babies' nursery.

Why? Primarily, because it was created in anticipation for our twins' arrival.

I️ had a mother's intuition that they were a boy and girl from the beginning, and I knew I wanted a calming but cheerful color scheme. Lavender is my husband's favorite color, which is perfect for a gender-neutral nursery. I chose a paint called "Blowing Bubbles" at Lowe's and my husband painted the room soon after we found out I was pregnant.

The cloth dolls were made by a friend's mother. When I️ was born, my aunt gave me a sweet little pink doll that I️ kept with me until I️ went to college, and I️ knew this was something I wanted to do for my little ones as well.

Our favorite time to be in the room is in the mornings when you can see the beautiful sunrise through the window. The light fills the room and everything just glows with happiness and motivation for the day.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: The only thing I️ would change would be for the room to be slightly bigger so we could fit two chairs next to the cribs so both babies could be rocked at the same time. Sometimes it can be a challenge to juggle them both in one chair.
