A 54-year-old Arkansas man died Wednesday when his vehicle ran off a road in Jackson County, authorities said.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., Kyle Barnhill was driving a 2006 Honda west on Jackson County Road 341 when he lost control in a curve and the vehicle ran off the road, Arkansas State Police said. It happened near Jackson County Road 4, which is near Arkansas 367 northeast of Bradford.
Barnhill, a Bradford resident, suffered fatal injuries. No one else was listed as being hurt.
Conditions at the time of the crash were said to be foggy and dry.
The death was one of at least 479 in traffic crashes in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
