Rep. Robin Lundstrum waits Monday on the House fl oor to see whether any legislators want to speak for or against her bill, House Bill 1428. The bill would require the suspension of the license of an abortion-providing clinic if it commits legal or code violations.

The Lunacy Crew is like a Pit Bull on this subject. The state could be falling into a sink hole and they would still with their last breath be working on this topic and to hell with a way to stop the sink hole. This decision is between the woman, her God and family....!!!! Not a group of self serving politicians.

These people are ruthless. Do they think there will be a bunch of white babies for them to adopt if they outlaw abortion? It's more likely that my college students tell me they're bringing their mothers in their forties for abortions because they either stopped using birth control regularly figuring it wasn't necessary, or the man they dated refuse to use condoms, lied about having a low sperm count or a vasectomy. Either way, they raised their children and didn't plan to have another. These heartless people making these decisions are standing next to people who have had abortions, and these men are standing next to men whose first reaction to these women were: It's not mine or I don't want any part of this. Abortion must be safe, legal, and affordable. Heartless hypocrites.

How does Jerry Cox have any authority to craft ANY proposal?, he's not an elected state official, so he needs to keep his hate to himself.

The sheer stupidity and waste are mind-boggling. Instead of pissing away huge amounts of taxpayer dollars on foredoomed lawsuits, they could be channeling that money into programs which we know will decrease the abortion rate. If it were really about "saving babies", that is what they would do. Instead, they are wasting this money on campaign ads to appeal to the unthinking extremists.
*
What we know works to decrease abortion rates is comprehensive ongoing sex education, free and easily accessible contraception (especially IUDs), and social programs which allow women to feel that carrying an unwanted fetus to term won't result in a dead-end life for both of them.
*
Sadly, our legislators refuse to grasp that they cannot outlaw abortion through legislation, they can only outlaw safe abortions through legislation. They are sending women back to the back alleys, kitchen tables, death, and mutilation.

jerry cox, has divine knowledge that is denied to you and I. And besides his job of knowing what is best for others , has a job that will remain for ever with the symbiosis of the gop and the divines.

In the Heat of the Night has a good observation on abortion for the regular guy.

We are being made into the image of Kansas and Texas and Iran.
